Mr. van Zijl is general pharmacist in Berkel-Enschot in the Netherlands and formerly financial director of the Royal Dutch Association for the Advancement of Pharmacy (KNMP).

Mr. Heinrich Oehlmann, member

Heinrich Oehlmann was born on 24 November 1941 in Naumburg/ Saale. He served an apprenticeship in telecommunications as the sound basis for the later practices. After completing studies in electrical engineering, stations of his carrier have been SIEMENS, ERICSSON, PHILIPS, etc. In 1978, he founded IBO, Ingenieur Büro Oehlmann for business activities in the field of industrial automation and communications in Neu-Anspach near Frankfurt/Main. Out of this active cell, further foundations have been created as ELMICRON, INTERMEC GmbH, ICS AG-Switzerland, -Germany and -International. In 1997 he established the European Data Tracking Association for applied Information Technologies, EURODATA, as an international platform for Know How Transfer, Consulting and multi sectorial projects.

The internationally recognized pioneering efforts of Heinrich Oehlmann in the sector "data logistics" and "identification systems" lead to the following appointments: Chairman of the AIM Europe Bar Code Committee Convener of the C.E.N. (Comité Européen de Normalisa-tion in Bruxelles) M.I.T.L. Working Group, Vice Chairman of the D.I.N. Bar Code Committee, Chairmen of the DIN committee 'Data Capture and Methods' and Head of Delegation of Germany for the ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 31 Committee Vice President Technical of the European Health Industry Business Council.

Now with EURODATA, Heinrich Oehlmann transfers the latest results of the developments and standardization into practical concepts of tracking and tracing to be integrated with international projects. This targeting to main Industry groups as Automotive, Electronics, Steel, Chemical, Health Care, Trade and Transport, coordinating the efforts to achieve multi sectorial and international traceability in close cooperation with the standardization institutes and industry liaisons.
